The Milky Way

The Milky Way

After YEARS of trying to even see the Milky Way clearly, yet alone photograph it, I finally was able to do both.
I was in a zero light pollution area, with no moon, and the amount of stars I could see was absolutely ridiculous. The Milky Way clearly stood out as a huge band stretching across the night sky.
The timelapse is 200 photos at 24fps.

To make the Timelapse I use an application called Davinci Resolve 15, as it is free.
I change the aspect ratio to the size that I want the video to be, set it to 24FPS, then I literally drag and drop all of the pictures that I want into the 'media' tab (this has to be done in one go for it to work properly).
This automatically creates the pictures into a video and then all you have to do is add the video to the timeline, and then export it in whatever format you want (MP4, Quicktime etc) and that's all there is to it.
